March 23rd to April 26th

- selection of paintings, collages, and sculptures

Syntropy describes a force in nature that moves toward increasing complexity, diversity, and connection. It suggests that creation and evolution are just as intrinsic to the fabric of reality as dissolution.

The works shown in Syntropy explore this fundamental interconnectedness — the truth that no being exists in isolation, but instead as part of a living, ever changing web of relations in which diverse beings co-create themselves and and their environment. Different lives, materials, and states of being flow into each other and merge into new forms.

The exhibition featured:

  • Three paintings from 2023 (Path I, Path I, and Moth/Man)

  • The Gestaltwandler collage series (2024)

  • A selection of painting-collages first shown at Metamorphosen

  • Two new collages on paper: Matter, Rabbit (2025)

  • Two sculptures: Siphonophores (2025)

  • A video installation (2025)

The pieces reflect a world in movement, a constant state of transformation.

Drawing from various materials of synthetic and organic origin they form beings living in thresholds and liminal spaces of possibility. The goal of these works is not reaching a stable fixed state but to invite exploration of unexpected unions and relations.

Here's a recap of the vernissage.
