About me

My name is Nele Bianga, I live in Heidelberg, Germany.

I'm a self taught artist whose creative work explores themes of transformation and interconnectedness. My visual art moves between painting, photography, collage and sculpture, and I like to combine organic and synthetic materials into chimera-like beings.

Additionally and occasionally I do performance art, integrating choreography, movement, make-up and videography elements.

I am interested in history from a decolonial and animist point of view, and how developments of power structures shaped the current times as well as personal worlds, which I like to use as a vantage point of artistic research projects.

If you’d like to support my work you can contribute through my Ko-fi page. Ko-fi is a platform that allows creators to receive support directly from their audience, helping fund projects, exhibitions, and new works.

Prints of collages from the series Gestaltwandler (2024) are available in two sizes on my Ko-fi Page.

Thank you for your support!
