2021: First exhibition - Palais Richer

"Ever Felt This Way?" – Group Exhibition in Heidelberg (June 2021)

In June 2021, I was part of a group exhibition at Palais Richer in Heidelberg, titled "Ever Felt This Way?" The theme was openly interpreted by each artist, showcasing works in mediums such as acrylic pouring, illustration, and photography.

For this exhibition, I presented 24 oil paintings (ranging from 20 x 30 to 100 x 80 cm) created between 2020-2021. These were the first paintings I ever made, emerging from a dark period in my life where the canvas became a space for me to give shape to emotions and create a space where they could exist. In contrast to the inspiration behind them, I used bright colors and stark contrasts to embody the intensity of that time. Some of the paintings were altered with cuts and burnings, while others incorporated three-dimensional elements like wires or photos.
